Thum's Burger, Ipoh

After years of searching, I finally found my long lost childhood "friend" - Thum's Burger. I remember Dad used to bring us to the van parked by the roadside opposite the Ipoh Garden Post Office to buy a couple of very yummy burgers from the two "kor kor" (big brother). A bite of the fluffy bun with a crispy on the outside and soft on the inside burger patty smothered with ketchup/chilly sauce, mayonnaise and shredded cucumbers is enough to send me into absolute bliss. I am glad to find that nothing has changed after all these years .........errrrr.... except the price.
Thum's Burger is now operating from Restoran & Kafe New Weng Fatt in Ipoh Garden South (Tingkat Taman Ipoh 11 to be exact).
