Observations Of A Food Blob (1)

Have you ever noticed (if you haven't already), that a lot of people are very attached to their mobile / smart phones or tablets or whatever communication gadgets you have nowadays. These people and their gadgets are practically siamese twins, if you know what I am getting at. They cannot stop fiddling with their gadgets, not even while waiting for the cashier at the supermarket check out counter to finish scanning and packing their purchases. Call me old or call me odd, but I cannot for the life of me see what is so interesting that they cannot bear to look away from their gadget for a teeny weeny moment. As for me, my smart phone stays in my pocket more than in my hand. I only play with it when there is nothing else that requires my attention. What say you?
